Is Social Media a Fad?
No!
It is a revolution that has changed the way we think and interact with the world and with each other.
This was an interesting video with a plethora of shocking statistics and one undeniable point: Social Media is here to stay. It's useless to fight it. We should, instead, attempt to harness its power. The most pertinent fact presented in the YouTube phenomenon was the idea that "we no longer search for the news, the news finds us." This has definitely been my experience with Twitter over the last couple of days.
