Twitter Organizations to Follow

In the past few weeks I have collected 48 twitter accounts to follow. Some of them are great and provide me with a lot of useful information and insight. Others I found to be too focused on promoting themselves and have, as a result, "unfollowed" their accounts. The following are five of my favorite organizations to follow so far:

@ALA_JobLIST - Provides updates on new jobs available in the field as well as tips on getting hired.

@TEDTalks - Tweets links every time a new TED video is posted. If you haven't heard of TED, I definitely suggest checking it out. Great thinkers from all over the world share their work and ideas in short (and free!) lectures.

@mashable - Offers news on all things social media.

@musicsavage - Tweets from a Boston-based music blog featuring reviews of local artists and concerts.

@langology - Spreads news about language and linguistics (my undergrad concentration).
